Colin joined
the financial services industry in 1977 and has
enormous experience of the industry and
providing financial advice across the board on a
wide range of topics.
Colin has worked for
many years developing links between
financial services and other professions
such as solicitors and accountants. He
has a strong belief that the general
public should have access to all round
professional advice, and he has worked
hard to develop relationships in this
area so that the individuals providing
legal or financial advice can be in tune
with each other, contributing to an
appreciation of each others disciplines,
resulting in all-round quality advice to
clients.
Colin qualified with an
MBA in 1998, and particularly enjoys
working with accountants and small
businesses where his knowledge and
expertise is put to good use, and also
working with solicitors and their
private clients giving investment
advice.
Patrick Baines

Patrick
joined the industry in 1988 working within large
institutions such as Prudential and the Inland
Revenue. Patrick also offers all round financial
advice but in addition has qualifications
allowing him to specialise within the mortgage
market providing expert advice, for example in
the areas of equity release and home reversions
plans.
Patrick has won many
industry awards over the years for
excellent customer service. He also
believes that everyone should have
access to independent advice whatever
their circumstances; he regularly
advises solicitors regarding equity
release, ensuring they appreciate the
complexities involved and the benefits
and pitfalls of such important
decisions.
His attention to detail
and ability to communicate difficult
situations to clients is a clear winner.
